If you are identified as a current American Express® Card Member, you may not be eligible for this welcome bonus offer. This offer is also not available to applicants who have had this product within the last 12 months or any other Consumer ZYNC®, Green or Gold Card or Platinum Card® account within the last 90 days.

You must charge $2,000 of eligible purchases on the Premier Rewards Gold Card within the first three months of Card Membership to earn the 25,000 points starting from the date your account is approved. PRG: Premier Rewards Gold Card members will accrue 3 points for each dollar of eligible purchases of airfare booked directly on scheduled U.S. and international passenger airlines, 2 points for each dollar of eligible purchases of gasoline at U.S. stand-alone gas stations, and 2 points for each dollar of eligible purchases at U.S. stand-alone supermarkets and a single point for each dollar of other eligible purchases. Charges at tour operators, charter airlines, and superstores or warehouse clubs are not eligible for bonuses. We reserve the right to award only one point for each dollar of eligible purchases on a Premier Rewards Gold Card account for any airfare purchase, gasoline purchase or supermarket purchase that we determine is not made for personal, family or household use and with the good faith intent of consuming the item purchased.

Eligible Purchases means purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, balance transfers, cash advances, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, or purchases of other cash equivalents. Merchants are typically assigned codes and categorized based on what they sell. Eligible purchases will receive only single points if the merchant code is not in a bonus category. Eligible purchases will receive only single points if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader or if the purchase is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party. In addition, eligible purchases will receive only single points if the purchase is not made directly from the provider of the goods or services.

Annual Fee: The American Express® Premier Rewards Gold Card will have a $0 introductory annual fee for the first year of Card Membership. After the first year, the annual fee for the Basic Card will be $175. There is no annual fee for up to 5 Additional Cards. The annual fee for 6 or more Additional Cards is $35 for each Card.

For each dollar charged of an eligible purchase in each billing period on your Premier Rewards Gold Card from American Express you will earn one point for each dollar of eligible purchases. You will earn: 2 additional points (for a total of 3 points) for airfare on a scheduled flight charged directly with passenger airlines (charter flights and private jet flights are excluded); 1 additional point (for a total of 2 points) for gasoline at gas stations located in the U.S. (superstores, supermarkets and warehouse clubs that sell gasoline are not considered gas stations); and 1 additional point (for a total of 2 points) for purchases at supermarkets located in the U.S. (superstores and warehouse clubs are not considered supermarkets). Eligible purchases are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Merchants are assigned codes based on what they primarily sell. A purchase will not earn additional points if the merchant's code is not eligible. Purchases made through a third-party payment account or on an online marketplace (with multiple retailers) will not earn additional points. A purchase may not earn additional points if the merchant submits the purchase using a mobile or wireless card reader or if you use a mobile or digital wallet.

Double Points: To be eligible to earn double points, you must be enrolled in the Membership Rewards® program (“Program”) at the time of purchase and you must charge your air, Lowest Rates Guaranteed hotel, Complete Trip (flight hotel packages), American Express Vacation package and cruise reservations on an eligible, enrolled American Express® Card. Any portion of a charge that you elect to pay through redemption of Membership Rewards points is not eligible to earn points. Some American Express Cards are not eligible for enrollment in the program. You will need to renumber the footnotes when you add the missing one in this spot.

* Roadside Assistance:Premium Roadside Assistance provides the following services at no additional cost up to 4 times per calendar year when Card Member is present with the eligible vehicle: towing up to 10 miles, winching, jump starts, flat tire change when Card Member has a workable spare, lockout service when key is in vehicle and delivery of up to 2 gallons of fuel. Card Member will be charged for the costs of towing in excess of 10 miles and any other additional services. Coverage is available in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This product does not cover some vehicles, e.g. rental vehicles, motorcycles, taxicabs, unlicensed vehicles, tractors and trucks over 10,000 lbs gross vehicle weight. Using Points: Enrollment in a participating Frequent Flyer program is required. Airline tickets are subject to availability. For each conversion of points into the Frequent Flyer program of a U.S. airline, a fee of $0.0006 per point, with a maximum fee of $99, will be charged to your Card account. We charge this fee to offset the federal excise tax we must pay on such conversions. The fee may be more or less than the actual amount of the excise tax we pay on any individual conversion. We may offer you the option to redeem points to pay this fee.

Benefit is available to Consumer and Business Platinum Card® and Centurion® Members only. To receive statement credits of up to $200 a year toward incidental air travel fees, Card Member must enroll and choose a qualifying airline at www.americanexpress.com/airlinechoice. Only the Basic Card Member or Authorized Account Manager(s) on the Card Account can enroll and select the qualifying airline. Card Members who have not chosen a qualifying airline will be able to do so at any time. Card Members who have already selected a qualifying airline will be able to change their choice one time each year in January at www.americanexpress.com/airlinechoice or by calling the number on the back of the Card. For 2014 only, Card Members may update their airline selection one additional time starting on 1/15/2014 through 2/28/2014 at www.americanexpress.com/airlinechoice or by calling the number on the back of the Card. Card Members who do not change their airline selection will remain with their current airline. Statement Credits: Incidental air travel fees must be charged on the enrolled Card Account for the benefit to apply. Purchases made by both the Basic and Additional Card Members on the enrolled Card Account are eligible for statement credits. For each conversion of points into the Frequent Flyer program of a U.S. airline, a fee of $0.0006 per point, with a maximum fee of $99, will be charged to your Card account. We charge this fee to offset the federal excise tax we must pay on such conversions. The fee may be more or less than the actual amount of the excise tax we pay on any individual conversion.
