Points don't expire, and there's no limit to how many points you can earn.
Your baggage can be covered against loss, theft, or damage when you use your eligible Card to purchase your Common Carrier Conveyance (plane, train, ship, helicopter, or bus).
Baggage Insurance Plan11 can provide up to $1,250 for carry-on baggage and up to $500 for checked baggage. For New York State residents, there is a $10,000 aggregate maximum limit for all Covered Persons per Covered Trip.
You can protect yourself and your family with up to $100,000 in Travel Accident Insurance. 15
Coverage is provided for accidental death and dismemberment while traveling on a Common Carrier Conveyance (plane, train, ship, helicopter, or bus) when the Entire Fare** has been charged to the Card.
When something you buy is broken or stolen, it shouldn't be your problem. That's why if you use your Card for eligible purchases, they can be protected from accidental damage or theft for up to 90 days from the moment you buy them.
If you try to return an eligible item within 90 days from the date of purchase and the merchant won't take it back, American Express may refund the full purchase price, up to $300 per item.

They use credit cards with chips in Sweden. Or cards with pins. Neither of which my card has because that's not really how America rolls.So after spending ten days in Stockholm I discovered even when the businesses took American Express, their card machines couldn't read mine so it was rejected. As in nine times out of ten, completely worthless.So yeah. Great in North America, worthless in Sweden. I'm guessing that's true in other European countries, too.
The card has taught me financial responsibility and as a result I don't over spend on anything. I like the service,security and rewards it provides. It's the one card I won't give up because I worked so hard to earn it. Of all the cards I carry it's the one card I count on when I need to use it,
This is the 1st time I am using an Amex card. Not Sure if the sky miles card/cash reward card has the similar benefits. Will only try them if I receive any pre-approved offers from Amex.

Would love to upgrade to platinum. Already pre approved but waiting for a good promotion. Green card doesn't seem to have a lot of benefits. Still a great company to be with.
....never thought $95.00 annual fee was a good thing but I find myself managing my spending much better w/ AMEX. It's more respected at restaurants and during travel and customer service is the very best. I've been offered Platinum and Gold Premier but my green card is never refused so why pay for perks I never use...we drive everywhere!

I really hope of using AMEX Green card. Wonderful possibility, no credit limit. And, also, benefits program is very pleasureful. Although I still haven`t used any rewards points, I release how can I do it in my future vacations and flights. Also, I want to say good words to your site. It`s very convenient and easy for using. Actually, I like analyzing chapter and information about all transactions. Only one small negative thing - some of small business don`t get payment from AMEX. But all other services are great.You do very good work. I`m appreciate to do business with you.

21When you request that we apply a limit as described below on Charges incurred by an Additional Cardmember on your Account, you agree to these terms. These terms supplement, and are incorporated by reference into, the terms of your Cardmember Agreement. At your request, we may agree to apply a limit to the total dollar amount of Purchases, during each billing period, that are charged to Card numbers associated with one or more specified Additional Cardmembers on your Account. At your request, we may agree to apply a limit to the total dollar amount of cash access transactions at ATMs and American Express Travel Service locations, during each billing period, that are made using Card numbers associated with one or more specified Additional Cardmembers on your Account. If we agree to apply a limit, it is not a guarantee that the Additional Cardmember will be able to make Purchases or cash access transactions up to the applicable limit. In applying any limit we will not take in to account any credits (such as for returned merchandise or for payments), even if a credit relates to a Purchase made by the Additional Cardmember. Any request that we change a limit may not be effective until a subsequent billing period. Any Charges (as defined below) incurred by the Additional Cardmember prior to the date during a billing period that we apply the limit will not be subject to the limit for that billing period.
